We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

Your dad squeezes your shoulder, causing you to start. You are not sure how long you have been staring at this admissions letter.
Your brother, taking in the situation with mouth agape, shouts, “How in the bloody hell did Jinx get admitted to Hogwarts? Hogwarts doesn’t accept squibs!”
You turn to look up at your dad. He shrugs and says, “That Dumbledore, he knows what he’s doing. I guess that I’m taking two to Diagon Alley today.”
